Goddess Vintage Advertising

Michelin Ad

This vintage wall art poster is actually an old advertisement, but I don’t think that should stop you displaying it as art in your home.

The print has a Greek Goddess sort of feeling and the transformation from forlorn to floating away could be to do with anything … not just a good quality tyre.

Framed Wall Art

Posted by rashmiart5 on July 18, 2008

I think that once you put something in a frame it becomes art. A funky birthday card in a sleek frame with fresh coloured matte border makes for a unique wall art display. I think you should just frame everything and turn it into art because not only is it meaningful to you and that is what displaying art is all about, you will also have a one off display!

Slate Grey

Close up photo of a portion of Triple Falls of the Dupont Forest in NC. Sunlight shimmers off the droplets of water as they cascade over layers of jagged rocks. What a rich, dark and brooding colour has been captured in this photographic wall art! The impenetrable water at the base of the waterfall, the sleek and shiny wet rocks and the deep green of the surrounding forest make ‘Triple Falls II’ a powerful wall art display.

Use this piece of wall art to add depth to a decorating style which already has some of the same orange and gree touches in the background of this photo, or use it as a powerful feature in your power office.

Man-Made Wall Art

Posted by rashmiart5 on May 13, 2008

Avila Beach, one of California's hidden seaside-gems, is situated in a sheltered bay, a short drive from Highways 101 and 1, mid-way between Los Angeles and San Francisco, just south of San Luis Obispo. Avila is one of those amazing beaches with gently sloping sand that encourages waders and young body boarders to venture into the sea. Avila Beach with its pristine coastline and awesome views has provided an exquisite location for weddings and honeymoons. A striking work of wall art, this painting is both a seascape and a landscape. Reflections of golden coastal cliffs on serene wet sands create a peaceful mood while providing vibrancy and color for your interior design. Susanne Renée Leasure’s hand painted oil art nicely displays the abstract reflections of the Avila, California bluffs glowing in the late sun. If you wish to study and appreciate this painting more closely, select “view in gallery” under the image of art. Use the “zoom” (magnify) feature at the bottom of the image to see every detail of the art, right down to the brushstrokes. You often hear water or the sea when it is calm being likened to glass and the sea in this painting ‘Avila Reflections’ would be described as just that. It is clear and still and reflecting the surrounding cliff faces, however it is a natural beauty, with which man-made creations could never compete.

The ocean, the sea and the reflections we enjoy in this wall art painting are all natual creations and often they are so beautiful that we have to find something from our own world and our own lives to compare them to, to understand and appreciate them. But we still know that the real thing is much more amazing.

Art for your Bathroom!

Posted by rashmiart5 on March 9, 2008

‘Gods Gift’Bathrooms too can be artistically decorated in contemporary, traditional, or country styles. Since the bathroom requires a lot of soothing and a ‘cool’ effect, you can have themes of clouds, water, beach, leaves, boats etc, and add accessories like seashells, natural mats, etc. White can be a dominant color to achieve the required effect and so are cool and light shades. Paintings of Nature and water animals or marine life in contemporary, classic, traditional and romantic art go very well but do ensure that these can be wiped clean and do not get spoilt with excess moisture.

Looking For Great Art

Posted by rashmiart5 on January 30, 2008

‘Avila Reflections’One of the easiest and most beautiful ways to be different, unique in the way you see things, known for abstract thinking, and being creative in your life and ambience,  is to have a well planned décor and unique wall art that is arranged innovatively in your living space. Art is like an investment where you constantly reap the dividends like fresh sources of inspiration, motivation and recreation from where you can draw your energy. Not just that, art in any form, like posters, murals, canvas art, metal art, photo art etc.,encourages imagination, relaxes you and simply flushes out all the negativity, stress and fatigue that creep into you.
